Time flies, and it is almost time already for the mobile manipulation challenge day! In the past months, the participating teams from KTH, LTH, Örebro University and Politecnico di Milano have been preparing their solutions for the challenge set out together with AstraZeneca. This week, they are invited at the ABB Corporate Research Center in Västerås to integrate and test their solutions before the challenge day on Monday 16th of December.
The challenge consists of two parts, pushing a cart with dirty ‘glassware’ (replaced with plastic in this challenge) towards a loading area and the loading of dishwasher trays from a box of dirty items. A panel of experts will rate the solutions and WARA Robotics and AstraZeneca will support the participation of the winning team to Automatica 2025.
