Our research arena thrives on many collaborations between both the industry and academia. Therefore, we are always open for new collaborations. Core Team
The Core Team are the partners that provide an in-kind contribution towards the research arena. The physical lab and robot hardware is hosted at ABB’s Corporate Research Center in Västerås, Sweden. Algoryx provides a digital twin and Ericsson provides the network where the robots are connected to.
Academic Partners
The research arena has many academic partners. Most universities collaborating in this program are Swedish, however collaborations are not limited to Swedish academia only. KTH, Lund University, Umeå University, Chalmers and Linköping University are affiliated with the WASP program.
Industrial Partners
Besides the Industrial partners in the core team, there are ongoing collaborations with AstraZeneca who provided use cases for lab automation and from where the mobile manipulation challenge was set up. Intel has provided us with LLMs and VLMs during for instance the WASP summer school of 2024.
