The WARA Robotics Challenge 2026 brings together students and researchers to tackle real industrial robotics problems inspired by assembly and logistics scenarios at Volvo. The challenge focuses on Physical AI, with tasks centered on autonomous navigation and robotic pick-and-place in a realistic factory environment at Volvo Future Factory, CampX, Gothenburg. Final demonstrations will take place on 2–3 December 2026.

Official registration is now open. If you are interested in taking part, please register via this form by 30 June 2026. If your team previously submitted a registration of interest, please note that this was not the official challenge registration, and you are therefore asked to register again using the form above. Early registration is encouraged and will help us plan the challenge and support participants in the best possible way.
