Together with Astra-Zeneca, WARA Robotics is hosting a mobile-manipulation challenge. Teams from 7 different universities have signed up to partake in this challenge, where we will have a demo day in December. In the meantime, all teams are able to come by the lab to test and integrate their solutions on the hardware provided by us, or use the simulation environments available.
The task consists of pushing a card with dirty glassware towards a dishwasher, followed by picking up the objects and placing them into pins of the dishwasher rack. This could significantly speed up processes in the lab since the scientists do not have to be bothered anymore with washing the glassware.
WARA Robotics and AstraZeneca will support the participation of the winning team to Automatica 2025 – The leading exhibition for smart automation and robotics.
